Our Challenge

Every year there are more than 220.000 heart attack patients in Germany. About 2.000 deaths are caused by a recurrent attack and the risk of it rises twice as high as normal up to two years after the attack. One of the most important trigger of the disease is psycho- and physiological stress and there are several possibilities to avoid it. The problem here is more the perception of the patient’s own body signs. Many People are not able to feel their vital signs and symptoms, which cause diseases. Heart and circulatory complaints often cause accidents in hospitals as well as in everyday life. They can neither be foreseen by the patient nor by the therapist or doctor during an exercise or test. In addition to that there are many patients who become frightened and inactive after a heart attack. That behaviour does not contribute to the recovery of the affected person.

Our Solution

Vital parameters can portray stress. Important parameters are the breathing activities, galvanic skin response, body temperature as well as heart activities and pain. By a permanent comparison of the parameter itself and with the other values a sustainable statement about the condition of the user can be made. With that statement critical situations can be foreseen and injurious consequences can be avoided. Abnormalities can be detected instantly by monitoring the user continuously what gives him the possibility to defuse emergent situations preventively.
