Our Challenge

Patients with autoimmune diseases and patients with transplanted organs as well have to take immune-inflammatory medication to prevent a rejection of organ donations or body’s own tissue. The regular and correct intake is essential for the lifetime of a transplanted organ and for the proper handling of an autoimmune disease. The risk to lose an own or a transplanted organ rises dramatically with a wrong and low level drug. So self-awareness and aftercare are crucial for a long life-time. Transplanted patients lose the new organ five to seven years too early, although an organ has an expected lifetime around 40 years.

Our Solution

Our vision is to bring up a real-time ecosystem consisting of a mobile medical application, an eHealth IT-infrastructure and a mobile device in order to detect relevant biomedical data. Patients are able to record own health data like blood pressure, food, medication intake and activity. The infrastructure brings the possibility to download new laboratory values and therapy plans and informations from clinics and doctors. On the other side doctors get detailed informations about the daily life of each patient in order to increase the quality of therapy and diagnostic.
