We are more than happy to welcome you to our MedTech Startup School 2016!

Who can apply?
Our goal is to create something big within just 100 days. Thus, we want to bring together doctors, scientists, engineers and MBAs – no matter whether you are a student, a PhD candidate or a full-time entrepreneur. We will all benefit from your different backgrounds and, of course, your passion for innovation, entrepreneurship and healthcare.

What can you expect?
Participating in the Startup School is free and there are no special conditions required, but looking back at last year’s batch we have some advice for you:
We will spend 100 very intense days together. We will have lots of fun but also a good deal of work. If you prefer to spend your summer days at the beach this is a reasonable decision, but, unfortunately, completely incompatible with our program.

Lean Mondays
Our curriculum is based on Steve Blank’s Lean LaunchPad for Healthcare and Life Sciences. There will be 10 demanding Mondays in a row, led by Daniel Bartel and Nils Hoegsdal. Participating in most of them is not only recommended but mandatory: They are called Lean Mondays but, believe us, they are anything but lean. It’s going to be a highly intensive training. You will receive a lot of input, interesting insights into successful as well as failed companies and the great chance to get individual feedback on your own business ideas.

Extra Thursdays
Sometimes, we will have additional guests to teach us things that are not covered by the Lean LaunchPad. Last year, for example, we had some valuable input on creating your startup’s internet presence or on how to pitch your project in front of investors. We expect at least one member of the group to attend those special learning units.

Beyond, there will be some great events like Hospital Immersion Day, Boot Camp or Demo Day.
A detailed schedule will be published soon.

For more information please have a look at our ABOUT page and feel free to read through our blog to get some impressions of last year.

We look forward to hearing from you :)
