University Hospital Tübingen - Center for Neurology

The University Hospital Tübingen (UKT) is a teaching hospital that combines medical treatment of the highest standard, excellent research and teaching. The UKT currently serves as a reliable partner in four of the six german centres for medical research, initiated by the Federal Government.

In 2000, the UKT’s renowned Department of Neurology and the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research formed the Center for Neurology, one of Germany’s largest, state-of-the-art centers specializing in neurology. This facilitates medical treatment and research at a level which is internationally first-class. Due to its wide interdisciplinary basis, research findings can be incorporated directly into patient care.
