You can email people, text them, call them, instant message them, facetime them or even send them a calligraphic postcard – no medial way will ever measure up to your sparkling eyes, your confident smile and your sweaty palms when you are nervously shaking the hand of an investor and trying to convince him/her of your product. If there is only one thing you kept in mind from last summer it certainly should be: GET OUT OF THE BUILDING! In 2016 there are a lot of opportunities to do so, so forget about your excuses and try to attend at least some of these trade fairs & markets:
March 14th-17th: Internet of Things Conference in MUNICH

March 16th-18th: Software Architecture Summit in MUNICH
If you are developing a software, this event will open new horizons to you.
March 18th: Gründermesse Neckar-Alb in REUTLINGEN
Home match! This trade fair is right on your doorstep! You can attend workshops and individual consulting. Moreover, 10 local startups will take part in the “Elevator Pitch BW” and pitch their ideas in public.
March 19th: EXISTENZ in LANDSBERG AM LECH
A fair trade for basic questions around the topic of entrepreneurship by IHK.
March 19th-20th: 7hack Hackathon in UNTERFÖHRING
ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE invites developers, designers and idea generators to team up for 24 hours to generate valuable outcomes. As this event is all about entertainment generating links to medical technology could prove as valuable USPs.
April 8th-9th: Startup Camp in BERLIN
This is the biggest conference for early stage startups: more than 1000 visitors, about 150 national and international speakers, 1 demanding pitch marathon. Share in the slogan “Share experience. Create future.”!
April 21st: Gründermesse Aufschwung in FRANKFURT/MAIN
2500 entrepreneurs, early stage startups, business angels and experts from the Rhine Main Area are expected.
