Grasshopper Films is a spinoff from Tübingen University’s campus TV station. Its founders, Anna and Oliver, wanted to take the university spirit and apply it to film production and strategic communication in general. Due to its closeness to the university and its foundational spirit, the company specializes in strategic scientific communication, short and modular film concepts and a general mobility in body and spirit.

Another trademark feature: on many projects, Grasshopper Films works with university alumni and current students with experience or background in journalism, media studies and film production in addition to veterans of the business. Together they bring great work, creative solutions and a flexible mind-set. Anna and Oliver consider this a win-win for everyone involved.

In the past the company has realized films for the University Hospital Tübingen, various departments within Tübingen University, the Jugendstiftung Baden-Württemberg, the state of Baden-Württemberg among others. Now the Grasshoppers are excited to join the MedTech Startup School.
