The last 100 days have been extremely exciting. 16 teams have come a long way from having a rough idea to shaping it into a valid business model. Ten of the teams presented their amazing progress at Demo Day proving Tübingen’s high potential in the field of medical technology to visitors from industry, university and press.
Do you have a problem worth solving? This is the question behind problem/solution-fit. Look at an existing problem and try to find a solution that fits the problem. Keep in mind that not every solution suits the problem. A solution might counteract a problem but not solve it at all.
This is the end of the beginning. We just experienced 10 weeks of Lean LaunchPad – transforming our rough ideas into actual startups. It’s a great achievement but also a scary project if we think about what’s coming next.
Remember your childhood, when you tried to fit a square peg in a round hole? It didn’t work then, it doesn’t work now. To have success you need to make sure that hole and peg match, that is: that you achieve product/market-fit.
Do you like helping others? Do you like sounding smart? Do you like fixing things? Sure everyone does, but there are some of us who extensively do that. Try to find people like that for your start-up!
